‘Tempo Polveroso’ by Frederik Vercruysse

Have you ever wondered where the marble comes from and how it naturally looks like? Belgium photograpber Frederik Vercruysse shows exactly that in his series ‘Tempo Polveroso’. It consists of  16 still images that came to life in Villa Lena, Tuscany during an ‘artist in residency’ project.

This cinematographic scenery unveils an atmosphere of beautiful melancholia, “the creation of beauty at the expense of nature”
